MarketSW, returns to Waterfront Station in SW DC. This night arts market runs from 4-10pm on alternate Fridays of the month beginning on May 10 and continuing every other Friday through September 27, 2024.

Situated on the Lot at 4th and M Streets SW, MarketSW will be located among Waterfront Station Metro, Safeway, the popular restaurants Station 4 and All About Burger, and Arena Stage. There is plenty of public parking among major office buildings, apartments and the thriving Southwest neighborhood. The market is a production of DMM supported by Waterfront Station and the Southwest Business Improvement District.

Southwest DC, boasts excellent demographics. 17,000 people live in the immediate Waterfront Station area with an average household income of $51,611. The neighborhood is well known for its proximity to the Wharf, Washington Channel, Fort McNair, and the national headquarters of more than two dozen federal agencies.

We are looking to showcase a diverse mix of art, crafts, handmade jewelry, accessories, bath/beauty, vintage and antique furniture, furnishings, accessories and collectibles, as well as other local and handcrafted products are desired. As an additional draw, live-music, select food trucks, and a fully-stocked beer garden are part of the programming mix.

Convenient loading and free adjacent parking for the market and an affordable $50 space fee are among the market’s considerable amenities.

Farmers Market SW is now accepting applications from quality food and farm businesses for the weekly Saturday market in SW DC. Opening April 6 and running every Saturday from 9AM to 1PM through November 30, the market offers baked goods, coffee, jams/jellies, prepared foods, pasture-raised meats & eggs, and locally grown fresh produce.

Now entering its fourth market season, its second by DMM, the market attracts hundreds of weekly shoppers from the surrounding community and also features live music, performances, lawn games, children's activity and more. The rapidly growing area, including the Wharf, newly completed apartment buildings, and new area amenities over the past year are adding critical density -- and the market is poised to grow significantly with new resources and new partnerships.

It's a nice neighborhood market that attracts families, young professionals and home-owning seniors in the area. The market also goes above and beyond to offer support to low-income shoppers through various voucher programs and a match for spending of federal nutrition assistance monies.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
