APPLY FOR FARMERS MARKET SW

February, 2020
Returning on April 18th, 2020, and continuing every Saturday until November 21st, the popular Farmers MarketSW returns to the Southwest DC community.

Centrally-located across from Waterfront Metro Station at the corner of 4th and M St SW, we invite local and regional farmers, as well as food artisans, to participate in selling local produce, sustainable meat & eggs, fresh baked breads, and hot cuisine from around the world.

Weekly, the market features live music and performances, community organizations, kids' activities, and special giveaways and promotions throughout the season. Farmers MarketSW is operated with the support from our sponsors at the Southwest Business Improvement District and Waterfront Station.

We are eager to expand the quality and diversity of our food suppliers, inviting those who sell agricultural products, health-conscious snacks, and other delicious items to participate in our growing market.

Products of interest include: local farm produce, dairy, meats, and plants; baked goods; preserves & honey; oils & extracts; prepared foods & beverages with special consideration for breakfast items and fresh juice preparation; as well as non-food related items such as homeopathic bath & skin care items; candles; local crafts and other artisan goods. All farmers and prepared food vendors must have applicable licenses, insurance and farmers must have DC Dept. of Weights & Measures scale certification.

We are offering 10'x10', 10'x20 double spaces, and extended sizes. All participants are expected to display their products in a professional and inviting way. Vendors supply their own tents, umbrellas, chairs and tables, and other display items.  Limited electricity is available on site.
